Sam Bankman-Fried is a prominent figure in the cryptocurrency industry. He has been sued seven times for alleged domestic abuse and sexual assault. According to court records, Sam Bankman-Fried’s ex-girlfriend got into an argument with him because he wanted to discuss their relationship issues while they were having sex. She filed a lawsuit against Sam Bankman Fried claiming that he pushed her down on the bed and tried to kiss her without consent.

You might have heard of the lawsuits being filed against SBI Group CEO Yoshitaka Kitao. But what you might not know is that there are seven of them so far.

Sam Bankman Fried In Legal Complications

In 2019 alone, Sam Bankman Fried has been sued by his wife, his ex-girlfriend,, and other women seven times: in March, April, May, June and July 2019 respectively; three cases were settled out of court; one was dismissed; one is still pending a decision.

The allegations made against him range from physical abuse to sexual harassment.

Allegations include sexual assault and domestic violence, as well as drunkenness, physical abuse and verbal abuse.

The lawsuits also claim that SBI was negligent in its hiring practices of former employees who were found guilty of crimes in the past.

According to a person who was present at the time of the alleged assault, Stanford was drunk on bourbon and “aggressive” toward the woman. He reportedly denied all allegations in a statement from his lawyer:

“I deny these allegations. I have never been abusive or violent in any way in my relations with women.”

The report also states that Stanford is one of the most prominent figures in the crypto trading field, worth $1 to $10 billion (according to an estimate by Forbes).
