Page Six reports that Pique’s current girlfriend Clara Chia Marti may be seen in an interview that was taken in 2021 in the home Pique and Shakira allegedly lived during their purportedly “happy together” period.
She is “devastated to find that this woman made herself at home in the house they shared with their children,” the source who spoke to Page Six said. Piqué interviewed Shakira for Zoom while she was away with her kids at the time. It’s “devastating to hear that this romance had been going for much longer than I anticipated,” the source continued of the Barranquilla native.
After 11 years of cohabitating, Pique and Shakira announced their separation last year. Although the singer and her kids are currently relocating to Miami, eight of those eleven years were spent in Barcelona, Spain. In a recent interview, she remarked on their breakup, “It’s hard to talk about it.” Particularly since I’m still dealing with it, I’m in the spotlight, and our separation isn’t like a typical separation, she added. In fact, on January 1st, Shakira posted the following on her social media pages in both English and Spanish: “Even if we are still in the first month of the year, time is the surgeon. Despite someone having misled us, we must still have faith in one another.”
