Shanna Moakler is finally relieved that her ex-husband, Travis Barker, is finally in safe hands even though he has been hospitalized.
The former model, speaking to Page Six, stated that she was grateful to everyone who had reached out to her and had expressed their concern for her ex and the father of her children. This statement was made a couple of days after Barker was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles. Moakler, who currently shares her son London and daughter Alabama with the drummer of Blink-182, also commended his current wife Kourtney Kardashian for taking care of him. She mentioned that she knew that he was in great hands and was definitely surrounded by the best medical teams money could get.
Shanna Moakler Opens Up About Travis Barker’s Hospitalization
Nevertheless, Shanna Moakler prayed for her ex-husband’s speedy recovery. Moakler finally concluded her statement to Page Six by stating that Barker had beaten the odds quite a few times throughout his life. And with the support system he had now, there was a surety that he would recover again. She also stated that she would be with him and their children as she has always been. The odds that she talks about involve a horrible plane crash in 2008 that left him with third-degree burns on over 65% of his body. In 2018, he was rushed to the hospital after doctors found multiple blood clots in his arm.
Barker had been married to Shanna Moakler back in 2004 before they split up in 2008. Despite their split, Barker has been pretty close to the oldest daughter of Moakler- the 23-year-old Atiana De La Hoya- whom she shares with Oscar De La Hoya. As reported by Page Six, the drummer of Blink-182 was first rushed to the West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday, after which he was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Throughout this ordeal, his wife Kourtney Kardashian was right by his side.
