The final Social Security payments for March 2025 will be distributed tomorrow. Although millions will see stimulus checks, some individuals will not. According to the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) payment schedule, your eligibility for a check on March 26 depends on your birth date and the specific type of benefits you receive.
Who will not receive Social Security stimulus checks on Wednesday?
1. Beneficiaries born between the 1st and 20th of any month:
– If your birthday is between the 1st and 10th, your payment is scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month, which was March 12.
– If your birthday is between the 11th and 20th, your payment is planned for the third Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
– These individuals already received their checks earlier this month, so they won’t be getting a payment on March 26.

2. Beneficiaries who began receiving benefits before May 1997 or those receiving both SSI and Social Security:
– If you began receiving Social Security benefits prior to May 1997, or if you get both Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security, your payment generally comes on the 3rd of the month. For March 2025, this payment would have been made on March 3 (or slightly adjusted if it were a weekend, but March 3 is a Monday). Therefore, you won’t receive a check on March 26.
3. SSI-only recipients:
– SSI payments are typically made on the 1st of the month. For March 2025, this payment was due on February 28, 2025, because March 1 falls on a Saturday. SSI-only recipients do not follow the Wednesday schedule and will not get a check on March 26.

4. Individuals with suspended or non-eligible status:
– Those whose benefits are suspended (for reasons such as overpayment recovery, identity verification issues, or ineligibility under new regulations such as the proposed payment ban for those without Social Security numbers) will not be receiving any payments, including on March 26, until their situation is rectified.
Who will receive a check?
– Beneficiaries born between the 21st and 31st of any month, who began receiving benefits after May 1997, are set to receive their Social Security payment on the fourth Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
