In a joint statement, Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski, the director of John Wick, paid homage to the actor. On March 17, Lance Reddick went away. His publicist described it as a “sudden” death but provided no other information. He is survived by his spouse, Stephanie Reddick, as well as by his kids, Christopher Reddick and Yvonne Nicole Reddick. Stephanie paid homage to her hubby on Lance’s Instagram page.

I am so thankful for your letters that I can not even begin to put into words how much I appreciate them.” Lance Reddick, who frequently appeared in the John Wick movies, returned to the fourth installment as Charon, the receptionist somewhere at Continental Hotel in New York City. A few days prior to the movie’s debut, he passed away. In a joint statement, the actor’s co-star Keanu Reeves and filmmaker Chad Stahelski gave credit to him.

The production company behind John Wick 4 said in a statement: “Without Lance Reddick and the unmatched nuance he added to Charon’s compassion and unflappable charisma, the universe of Wick just wouldn’t be what it is. Although Lance leaves behind a lasting legacy and a tremendously outstanding amount of work, we will always remember him as our dear friend and Concierge. We are shocked and inconsolable, and our hearts go out to his cherished family and his adoring followers everywhere.
