Residents of Indiana, Chicago, New Mexico, and Maine will begin receiving Social Security Stimulus Checks this week.
A recent Indiana law requires that any budget overages be compensated for by providing residents with a tax credit. Joint filers will thus receive a $250 stimulus refund as compared to merely $150 for single taxpayers. Indiana will hand out all of the stimulus checks by the end of September.
More than 3,500 Chicago families received the checks, and those who qualified for them started getting payments at the start of this week, according to Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot.

Those who qualify will receive $500 in UBI payments annually through prepaid debit card or direct transfer.
In New Mexico, single filers with combined incomes up to $75,000 would get payments of $250, while joint filers with combined incomes under $150,000 would receive 500 dollars. Checks for 850 dollars have been sent to eligible people in Maine, while checks worth double that amount have been distributed to families. The governor’s office states that filers will get their reimbursement by mid-July.
Delaware Residents in Delaware received a $300 “relief refund” when they submitted their 2020 state taxes starting in May.
Georgia
Depending on your filing status, you could be eligible for refunds if you have submitted both your 2020 and 2021 tax returns.
Hawaii
Taxpayers in the state will get reimbursements of $100 and $300.
Idaho citizens are eligible for either a $75 refund or a 12 percent state tax cut for 2020, whichever is larger.
Illinois
Illinois is providing short-term reductions in sales taxes as well as rebates on income and property taxes.
Indiana
No of their level of income, all citizens of Indiana will receive $125 Stimulus Checks.
Maine
As a result of a budget excess, households are getting checks for up to $850.
Massachusetts
The Massachusetts State Legislature is working to offer qualifying individuals and married couples one-time Stimulus Checks of $250 and $500, respectively.
