In these days of increasing inflation, there are quite a few Americans who have been wondering if there would be any more stimulus check payments coming in the future.
Although the federal government hasn’t really passed any massive stimulus bills, there are still quite a few states that have been seeing the tail end of all roll-outs of a variety of tax rebates and relief programs. As was previously reported by the media, the last official stimulus payments were related to the economic hardships that people faced in March 2021. However, there were also quite a few states that offered payments even in April 2023- and will be distributing later this year, are also the states where the taxpayers could receive more than $1,000.
Stimulus Check Payments Coming In Alaska and Maine
In the state of Alaska, the residents have been quite capable of taking advantage of the revenue program that is derived from oil extraction under a program that is called the Permanent Fund Dividend program. In 2023, all the approved applicants will be receiving a tidy sum of $3,284. This amount is definitely much larger than is normal, simply due to an additional energy-relief benefit that will require the eligible residents to apply by the 31st of March 2022.
While not exactly a stimulus check payment, the state of Maine has also come out to be quite sympathetic to the higher costs of energy- and will also be sending payments of $450 to the residents specifically to offset the heating costs in winter. There are approximately 880,000 residents who will be receiving these checks.
