Taxpayers who don’t have a bank account can use the myColorado app, or register for direct deposit at the state’s website. The department also said it will mail another round of letters to taxpayers without bank account information on file. The letters inform people about how to register for direct deposit or debit card payment with the state’s myColorado app and directs them to go here for more information about how to get their money.

Anyone who isn’t sure if they’re due a payment can go to the Get My Payment tool on the IRS website to check their status. You’ll need your Social Security number, or a tax return transcript from the IRS. If you don’t have a Social Security number, you will need a tax return transcript.

More than 2 million Coloradans have received a total of more than $3 billion in stimulus money so far, according to the department of revenue.

That includes everyone who has received any sort of refund from the federal government since the stimulus began. This includes overpayments on taxes and other types of payments made by the IRS, as well as refunds for purchasing hybrid vehicles and energy-saving appliances.
