Stimulus Check demands have grown over the last few months. Citizens have requested the government to aid them financially.

The federal government stated that they would be open to any ideas benefitting the mass. However, they did not seem to be interested at all.

Despite the launch of some commendable petitions, the government has remained unmoved. One such petition can be found online at Change.Org.

The petition was initiated by the owner of a restaurant. The proposed bill asked for a monthly stimulus check of $2000.

The bill became very much popular among the citizens. Over three million people signed the petition in favor of the checks.

Recent data have shown alarming spikes in the infection level. The number of infected people has shot up drastically. Death tolls are also on the rise. The Health Department has reinforced the use of strict covid protocols.

Masks have also been made compulsory. This has led the citizens to vociferously demand a further monetary announcement. A new concern has been doing the rounds recently in America.

Many eligible residents passed away during the pandemic. This has led the common people to question what will happen to their stimulus checks? Let us learn more about the story in detail below.

Stimulus Check: How Can Payments Be Claimed For The Deceased?

The pandemic left the world in a state of shock. Thousands of people lost their lives during the dark times. America was no different.

A number of families lost their near and dear ones. However, some of these deceased individuals were due for a stimulus check.

The descendants of such families are concerned about what happened to those checks. The IRS has recently addressed these concerns.

The IRS stated that if the deceased individuals were eligible for the stimulus check, they would still get them. The person must have earned below $75000 to qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit.

However, anyone that passed away before 1st January 2021 will not be qualified to receive the payments.
