Stimulus Checks have been announced by Maine. Janet Mills is the Governor of the state. She has proposed a payment of $850 to each of the eligible citizens of the state.
The payments will be a part of the supplemental budget worth $1.2billion. Mills signed the act on 20th April.
According to estimates, almost 850000 residents will benefit from the payments.
Individuals earning below $100000 per year will be entitled for the check. Joint filers are capped at $200000 and the head of the family at $150000 per year.
