According to information provided by THE IRS, almost 9 mn qualified Americans have not yet received their epidemic relief stimulus payments. The IRS contacted prospective beneficiaries who had not yet filed for their monthly payouts.

The relief stimulus check payments were calculated based on each person’s tax filing, so people who were ineligible to submit taxes or even requested extended versions were not considered.

Millions of US citizens were left without federal relief stimulus check payments, especially those with modest salaries, sporadic internet connection, or people who are now homeless.

As per the US GAO, eligible beneficiaries only have till November 15 to finish a simpler tax return and recover their unpaid benefits.

The deadline for claiming stimulus check for taxpayers who failed to get the same by the 15th Apr deadline was October 17.
