Twelve of the nearly 20 states that approved Stimulus Checks in one form or another in 2022 still have residents who are waiting for their money. If you live in one of the following 12 states and have not yet received the Stimulus Check you were due, do not fear; a check could be on the way.
Which States Are Sending Another Stimulus Check
California
There will be some Stimulus Checks sent out through November 14, nevertheless. Most eligible Californians received Middle-Class Tax Refund checks in October totaling up to $1,050. Debit card payments will be accepted till January 14, 2023.
Colorado
To prevent fraud, Colorado mailed real cheques up to $750 or $1,500 for joint fillers; the majority of these were received before September 30. However, those who asked for a tax extension would still get their payments through January 31, 2023.
Delaware
Eligible residents who have not yet received a Delaware Relief Rebate payment may apply for the $300 stimulus during a 30-day application period that ends on November 30.
Hawaii
Based on when they filed their taxes, eligible Hawaiians will get reimbursements of up to $300 on or before December 31.
Idaho
For the balance of the year and into early 2023, Idaho citizens who satisfy the requirements will receive $300 payments ($600 for couples).
Illinois
Illinois is providing two reimbursements, one for $50 and the other for $300. The first checks were mailed on September 12 and “will take several months to be distributed,” according to the state.
Indiana
Indiana has authorized two tax refunds for individuals: one for $125 and one for $200. For each, different requirements must be satisfied, and those who did have already received their payments. Those who only met the requirements for the $200 refund, on the other hand, will not get paid and will instead need to claim it as a tax credit when they file their taxes the following year.
