Stimulus Check

It should come as no surprise to anyone that the stimulus check payments have been a massive boon to families. The payments from the government have really helped families stay afloat during the pandemic. With the pandemic still ongoing, and the number of cases rising due to the Delta variant, a question arises- will there be another stimulus payment from the government?

As it stands, life throughout the country is settling into a new normal, with the economic conditions improving rapidly. Yet, the rising economy hasn’t helped everyone yet. Some have their finances gradually improved, but a lot haven’t bounced back from the ravages of the pandemic.

A Fourth Stimulus Check In the Works?

Unfortunately, unemployment is still at a massive high where it exceeds levels set pre-pandemic- despite jobs being made available rapidly in certain sectors. Most of the states have already stopped the federal unemployment bonus- which has further prolonged the problem.

At the same time, the federal eviction moratorium does end this week- which would see millions of citizens short of food and lag behind on their bills. As of the 15th of July, the CTC stimulus check is still alleviating the situation of a few families. For, even with the aid available, questions have been asked regarding the possibility of yet another stimulus payment.

The third stimulus check began in March as a result of the American Rescue Plan of President Joe Biden. Since that point, almost 169 million people have received a sum of $1,400 each- with the total valuation coming to $422 billion. The ARP has also checked closely- following the $600 payments from January, which came out almost nine months after the $1,200 payments from the early days of the pandemic.

The stimulus check payments were intended to prevent the harsher blows of COVID on the economy of the country. While they have helped a lot of individuals who desperately needed it, they have also assisted those that didn’t need it at all.
