Stimulus Checks

There are some Americans who, even in mid-2022, do not realize they might be owed another $1,400 stimulus check.

Luckily, there is a way to find out if you’re one of them.

There were qualifications and limits to who could and could not receive a stimulus check payment.

In order to qualify, single Americans could not have made over $75,000 in 2020.

Married filing jointly Americans could not make over $150,000.

The $1,400 checks would phase out if you made more, with a cap at $80,000 for singles and $160,000 for joint filers.

Payments of $500 could be going to thousands in Minnesota

Over 175 million checks were issued by Dec. 2021.

Some Groups Are Still Waiting For Their Stimulus Checks

Most people have received their checks, but specific groups of people may still be waiting.

The following people are still owed stimulus checks

419,822 people with ITINs that had a qualifying dependent

133,578 people who had unemployment benefit exclusions

51,659 people were falsely marked as a resident of the U.S. territory

39,666 people filed changes or had an unresolved condition on their account with the IRS.

Anyone still owed money should have received Letter 6475, which told you if you could claim stimulus money.
