The first two rounds of the relief aid payments that were provided, did not do much to help the financial conditions of the people. The last two rounds of the money were beneficial in paying off debts. As the demand throughout the country for stimulus checks is getting intensified, the lawmakers of a few states have decided to grant it in their states. A total of four states either have or will now provide the money.
Stimulus Check In Different Forms
One of the districts of the state of Texas approved providing the extra money to the teaching staff. The amount provided was 2000 USD. This was a way of thanking them for their services even during the harsh conditions of the coronavirus. The eligible citizens of the state of California are also set to receive the stimulus check payments. The amount is said to be 600 USD per head.
The teaching staff belonging to the state of Florida will soon be receiving their share of the stimulus checks. The amount will be included in their paychecks that will be given out in the month of August. It has also been stated that there will be a boost in the salaries of most of the first responders like EMTs and paramedics. The New Mexico lawmakers will soon distribute money to those residents who could not receive the federal aid payments.
The federal government has also provided child tax credit payments. The amount of the relief aid depends on the age of the children. If the children are under the age group of 6 years old then they will receive 3,600 USD. And if the children fall within the age group of 7 and 17 years old, then the federal government provides them a total of 3000 USD stimulus check per kid. The amount will be provided to individuals whose salary does not surpass 75,000 USD. And for the married couples, the income eligibility criteria must be within 150,000 USD.
