A number of citizens belonging to the state of California will soon be receiving a new batch of stimulus checks. The total amount of the direct payments that will be provided to one person is said to be 600 USD. As per reports, it will be distributed from the month of September.
Stimulus checks From September
Providing the stimulus check was possible following the success of a plan that amounts to 100 USD. all the leaders of the concerned state went on to approve it. The plan also includes providing help to the citizens in paying their rents. It also includes uplifting those businesses in the state of California that witnessed a downfall due to the coronavirus pandemic. All of these provisions are a part of the wider plan known as the California Comeback Plan. Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, was the one who approved it. The approval was given a week back.
The most recent stimulus checks were one of the provisions of the stimulus program of the Golden State. Originally the program distributed a total of 3.8 billion USD. The money was given to those residents having low incomes. It was distributed with a check of 600 USD. The incoming round of the direct payments will provide a total of 600 USD to all those eligible citizens who fall within the banner of being middle class.
The income of those citizens has to be up to 75,000 USD per annum. The government will also be providing a total of 500 USD to those eligible citizens who have children to take care of. As per an update provided by the concerned agency’s website, the stimulus checks will start hitting the bank accounts of the people from the month of September.
