500k of the California residents have got their state stimulus checks of $600 while the others are still on the line to check their eligibility.
The Eligibility Criteria For These Stimulus Checks
You need to file your 2020 tax returns before the 15th of October and have to be a resident of the state for more than half of 2020, to qualify for the stimulus checks.
You also need to show an AGI up to $75,000 for 2020 or wages up to $75,000 for the same year. The cap is $75,000 beyond which you will not qualify for these checks.
The residents should not be claimed as dependent by other taxpayers.

Around 600k Golden State Stimulus checks were dispatched last week and the Franchise tax Board stated that people can see the changes in their bank accounts in the coming days.
The payments were dispatched in 2-week intervals so all the eligible people will not receive the payments at the same time.
Approximately 2 million people are expected to get their second round, in both deposits and paper checks, around September, according to the state.
The fourth stimulus check might be on its way after an August report saw 235k new jobs being created in the state.
California, Colorado, New Mexico, New York, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, and Texas have established their extra stimulus checks to assist the residents hardest hit by the situation.
