Taylor Lautner opens up about his days on Twilight.
“I was so young, and certainly, it was extremely unusual traversing the globe and being in various locations and having thousands of shouting supporters either supporting your side or the other guy’s,” Taylor Lautner said. We’re a team, man. Even though we’re both in the business of making movies, our strange rivalry stems from the fact that we want to create the finest ones. Rob and I never had any competitive feelings toward one another, but that continual reminder did have an effect.
Taylor Lautner Loved Working In Twilight
Between 2008 and 2012, a total of five films in “The Twilight Saga” series were released. Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Pattinson are already household names throughout the globe thanks to the films’ combined $3.3 billion in box office earnings. Superstars like Taylor Swift expressed interest in appearing in the series because of its widespread viewership. Swift’s agency reportedly sought to land her a part in “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” as director Chris Weitz disclosed last year.
Weitz said that Taylor Swift was cast in the film because “she would want to be in this movie – not because of you, but she’s a Twi-hard.” Swift and Weitz shared an agent at the time. Taylor Swift reportedly told her agency that she would be satisfied with a position as “someone in the cafeteria, the restaurant, or whatever” in “New Moon,” which was played by Kristen Stewart.
Weitz: “The toughest part for me was to be like, the moment that Taylor Swift goes onto the screen, for about five minutes, nobody is going to be able to comprehend anything.” I also feel terrible about missing out on the opportunity to spend out with Taylor Swift. She probably thought, “Who is this jerk?” However, there are instances when you have to make choices for the sake of the film’s overall success.
This autumn marks the 15th anniversary of the release of the original “Twilight” picture.
