On Friday, the “TROLLZ” rapper, 26, posted a video of the March 21 encounter to Instagram, breaking his silence for the “first time addressing the subject.” Three guys were arrested on Thursday in connection with an attack at a South Florida gym last week that left rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine injured and bloodied.

Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Octavious Medina, 23, and Anthony Maldonado, 25, were charged with assault and robbery of the rapper. The rapper, whose actual name is Daniel Hernandez, was injured in the attack. He was rushed to the hospital, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to officials.

Three males were seen standing over the rapper on the floor of the gym’s sauna section in a viral mobile video. 6ix9ine is kicked by one of the men, while the other leaps forward and punches him. Another footage shows 6ix9ine with blood trickling down his face following the incident. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on March 21 at a LA Fitness in Lake Worth. Deputies say the 3 suspects were being booked into Palm Beach County jail Thursday night.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, famed for his rainbow-colored hair and “69” tattoo on his forehead, was previously sentenced to decades in prison in a racketeering case in which he was accused of utilizing a violent gang as a “personal murder squad.”

However, after testifying against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, his sentence was reduced to around two years, giving him the moniker “snitch.”
