TeraWulf Goes Nuclear: 8,000 Rigs Spool Up In Nautilus Mining Facility

TeraWulf, the Bitcoin miners has lighted up some behind the scenes facility powered entirely by nuclear power in Pennsylvania. TeraWulf, has launched their new nuclear powered crypto farming facility in Pennsylvania.

In a 6th March Statement, TeraWulf said that the Nautilus Crypto farming area is their first nuclear powered mining facility. This means, it uses energy straight at the generation site without travelling through grid.

Nautilus Cryptomine has become the BTC mining firm that can generate power for their BTC mining without carbon. The CEO and Chairman, Paul Prager from the business claimed that this mining facility in Nautilus is now the best firm with lowest expenditure on power. The company have showed that that now they bring almost 8K mining rigs from online, with plans for other miners 8K miners in May.

TeraWulf Now Has A Nuclear Powered Mining Facility:

TeraWulf has got a fifty MW share in the first phase of the facility as it is their joint plan with the Cumulus Coin. However, it can also bring added 50MW of the mining capacity in the next phases. As per the website of the company, they are expecting to reach 300MW goal and when completed, it will be counted among the biggest cryptomine firms in Northern America.

First announced in 2021’s August the facility is going to gain the partnership of the nuclear mining facility of TeraWulf and Talen Energy Corporation. The first phases of this collaboration aimed for 180MW cryptomine based upon the campus of digital infrastructures of Talen.

TeraWulf generates the basics that get energy from the nuclear, solar and hydro powers and become the completely carbon-free part.

There are a few concerns about the environmental impacts of Bitcoin mining that has been scaled up in the last couple of years with great debates around the energy and environmental impact around the mining of crypto assists.
