According to the information provided to Cointelegraph on the 15th of December, the growth in the network for The Graph- a blockchain indexer- still seems to be going strong. This indexer had been launched a couple of years ago, and it allows developers to easily index, search, publish, and use the data from all of the public blockchains.
From November 2021 to November 2022, the total number of developers that were currently active on this indexer went from 145% to 38,000. In the same period, the average query fees for GRT per month increased by around 1,191% to 354,000, while the total lifetime GRT queries on this decentralized network saw an increase of 984% to 5.2 billion.
The Graph Has Seen Quite A Rise In Subgraphs
Ever since The Graph was launched, over 200 indexers, 2,500 curators, and 10,000 delegators have been onboarded to this blockchain. Over 500 subgraphs also ended up migrating from the original service of hosting to this fully decentralized network. As of now, it does currently index the data all over from 39 different blockchains, which include Near, Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Fantom, Celo, IPFS, Moonbeam, and others. The total number of subgraphs has also grown quite a lot after being deployed in decentralized applications. The growth has been from 3,800 at launch in December 2020, to around 74,000 now.
Eva Beylin, the director of The Graph Foundation, went on to state that on the second birthday of the indexing company, it was quite incredible to see the celebrations that had been organized in several cities around the world. She also spoke about how she was blown away by the dedication of the Advocates to the mission of the company to support Web3.
