This New Vision Pro Cover: Awkwardly Ugly Yet Surprisingly Awesome

Today, dbrand, in partnership with Kyle Goodrich, introduced a new protective accessory for Vision Pro called Aperture. This innovative product serves a practical purpose: it shields the front display of Vision Pro while allowing full access to Apple’s multiple cameras and sensors.

dbrand’s thoughtful design for the Vision Pro cover

The Vision Pro from Apple comes with several accessories, including a cover meant to protect the front display.

The downside is that this cover is intended only for use when the Vision Pro is turned off.

While it effectively keeps the outer display in good condition when not in use, it must be removed whenever you want to interact with the spatial computer.

With dbrand’s new Aperture accessory, however, you can protect the front screen even while actively using Vision Pro.

Just be careful—you might inadvertently provoke trypophobia in a partner or child, especially when using it alongside EyeSight.

Last year, Kyle Goodrich shared on X about a custom faceplate he created for the Vision Pro featuring a similar design. This garnered significant attention online, leading him and dbrand to collaborate and turn it into a marketable product.

Aperture is crafted from polyurethane and designed with precision to ensure that not a single sensor on the Vision Pro is obstructed.

It’s offered in two colors: a vibrant orange and a more subdued black option, priced at $49 on dbrand’s website.

Additionally, you can purchase a matching Vision Pro battery clip as part of a bundle for $69.
