Tim Cook Commends Trump on Winning the Presidential Election

Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, has added his voice to the numerous Big Tech executives congratulating Donald Trump on his election victory as President of the United States. He expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with the Trump administration.

In a recent social media post, Cook stated:

“Congratulations President Trump on your victory! We look forward to collaborating with you and your administration to ensure the United States continues to be driven by ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.”

Among others who have publicly congratulated Trump via social media are Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai from Google, Jeff Bezos, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Sam Altman of OpenAI, and, of course, Elon Musk.

After the events of January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol, Cook advocated for a peaceful transition of power from the Trump administration to President Biden. He also extended his congratulations to President Biden and Vice President Harris on Inauguration Day.

Last month, Trump mentioned that Cook reached out to voice concerns regarding Apple’s ongoing disputes with the European Union, which have resulted in fines totaling $17 billion. Trump recounted telling Cook, “I’ve got to get elected first. But I’m not going to let them take advantage of our companies.”

Throughout the years, Cook has consistently highlighted the importance of participating in discussions rather than remaining passive. “You don’t change things by just yelling,” he remarked in 2016. “You change things by demonstrating why your approach is the most effective.”
