Unique Steve Jobs-Signed Business Card Up for Auction

Occasionally, rare collectibles from Apple’s formative years are put up for auction. If you’re a collector, RR Auction is currently offering a unique business card signed by Steve Jobs, but be prepared to spend a few thousand dollars.

Bidding for Jobs’ signed card hits $75,000

This specific card dates back to 1983, just prior to the announcement of the first Macintosh. It features the name “Steven Jobs” followed by his title as “Chairman Board of Directors.” The card bears Jobs’ signature in black ink and showcases Apple’s beloved rainbow logo. RR Auction has authenticated the card despite noting “minor imperfections.”

According to RR Auction, Jobs was particularly “selective about signing memorabilia,” making such signed pieces quite rare and highly sought after by collectors. Out of 15 Jobs business cards auctioned by the platform, only four are from this period, with just one being signed by him. “This lot represents the second signed example from 1983, constituting one of the few Jobs-signed Apple business cards,” the platform notes.

Bobby Livingston, Executive Vice President of RR Auction, points out that “Jobs’s signed business cards serve as a direct link to the visionary behind one of the most groundbreaking companies in history.”

The auction is set to end on February 20, with bids for the Jobs-signed card already reaching $75,000. The next bid threshold is set at $82,500. RR Auction mentions that bids are “steadily increasing” and are surpassing their initial estimates.

In a related auction, the platform is also offering a replica SpaceX helmet signed by Elon Musk, which currently stands at a bid of $2,338.
