Many Americans find they need assistance from the government, especially in light of the rapidly rising cost of sustenance and the stagnant employment market. A stimulus check is one way that some people, even the ones who aren’t going through difficult times, may get a cash boost. Most qualified recipients of this funding have already received their stimulus checks from the US government for $1,400. However, it has been claimed that the enacted Congress Budget did not provide any stimulus payments to more than 600,000 qualified taxpayers.
The primary criterion for eligibility for the $1,400 stimulus payment was income. The entire amount was available to individuals earning up to $75,000 annually, heads of households earning up to $112,500 annually, and married couples reporting jointly making up to $150,000 annually. Higher earners saw a reduction in their checks, which eventually phased out completely for those making 80,000 dollars, heads of households making 120,000 dollars, and married couples making 160,000 dollars.
