Verizon Increases Prices by Up to Monthly on Select Plans

As the new year begins, some Verizon smartphone users are facing price hikes of up to $15 per month on their multi-line plans.

The increased charges affect customers on the myPlan with five or more lines, as well as those on legacy New Verizon Plan accounts.

A user on Reddit posted an email they received regarding the price adjustment to their myPlan account.

Thank you for your loyalty to Verizon. We take pride in providing the network that connects you to what matters most. To ensure we continue delivering an exceptional mobile experience, we are making adjustments to our plan prices. Effective no sooner than 2.20.25, the myPlan multiline discount for accounts with 5 or more lines will be reduced. Accordingly, the price for the myPlan lines below will rise by $3/month per line.

The carrier outlined additional increases for its New Verizon Plans in a recent support document.

  • Due to increasing operational expenses, there will be higher charges for this plan effective no sooner than 2/20/25:
  • Each shared data plan for a single phone line will incur an additional $4/month line access fee.
  • Each shared data plan involving multiple phone lines will see an increase of $15/month for the line access fee.
  • The data overage charge will rise from $15 to $20 per GB.

This plan is now unavailable for new customers.
