Chris Rock recently addressed the infamous slap of Will Smith which took place at the Oscars almost a year ago, in his Netflix specials live-streaming platform called Chris Rock: Selective Outrage.
Will Smith Still Intends On Making Amends To Repairing The Old Friendship
Following up a year to the infamous Oscars incident on the stage of the 94th Academy Award event where a furious Will Smith struck Rock in the middle of the stage. Rock was directed towards the assault recently in his live session of Netflix’s comedy special asserting that he was evidently not the victim.
A source has come forward stating that 54-year-old Will Smith had been quite remorseful for his actions and felt terrible because of the smack that Rock had to take at in Oscars. The source added that in his unsuccessful tries at making amends, he did the best he could come up with.
But the far beyond all that family is one of his topmost priorities and Will leaned on them, sources said in regard to the aftermath of the given situation. He continued that somewhere in between everything this incident helped Will Smith look within himself and mature, he might have been better than before but the guilt still seeps in.
The comedy special of Rock that aired on Saturday, was filmed at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, making it the first-ever comedy live broadcast that starred the 58-year-old comedian. He closed up his show by focusing on the Oscars incident and roasts thrown at Will and Jada Pinkett Smith has applied for a special title as he went on to slam both his marriage and himself.
Although many audiences feel like Rock’s scathing humor might have just widened apart the rift even more for Jada and Will Smith.
