Willow Smith who is just 21 years old recently shared a post on Instagram quoting Jay Shetty, the motivational speaker, that literally every member of this world is going through a tough time which is why people need to be kind and compassionate.

This post came right after her father Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 after he cracked a joke on his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The message of Willow Smith was quite similar to her mother who stated that this is a healing season and she will always stand beside Will Smith.
However, Jaden Smith, the son of Will Smith, has a contrasting opinion which was clearly evident from his post where he wrote that this is the way their family members take action in situations like that. By this post, he send the message that he supported the behavior of his father.
Chris Rock cracked a joke about the bald head of Jada Pinkett Smith which is due to the disease alopecia. He joked that he is waiting for Pinkett to be cast on G.I. Jane 2 which made Will take action emotionally. Following that incident, Will won the best actor award for his movie ‘King Richard’ and in his speech, he said sorry to everyone present there apart from Chris Rock.
Later on, he posted a public apology which was meant for Chris Rock. He apologized for his behavior and accepted that any kind of violence is inexcusable and unacceptable. He accepted that he was emotionally triggered and he is truly embarrassed for his violence and requested everyone not to judge him based on this behavior as he is better than this.
