Thanks to a host of updates, Reddit posts will now have a lower chance of violating a subreddit’s rules.
Among these updates is a new feature that lets users request an AI check on their post prior to submission…
Posting restricted content repeatedly can lead to a swift ban, which is why Reddit is beginning to test an AI check feature in its iOS and Android applications.
To expedite the process, users can perform an initial check after entering the post title:
This feature will initially be rolled out to a limited group of users during the testing phase before a broader launch if it proves successful.
Additionally, today marks the introduction of four new features in the iOS, Android, and desktop apps, starting with Post Recovery. If your post is removed for rule violations, you will now have the option to submit it to a different community.
The apps will also alert users ahead of time if they do not meet the posting requirements for a subreddit, such as having a new account or insufficient Karma, before they even begin typing.
Users will also receive suggestions for related subreddits based on the title they choose.
Lastly, the new Post Insights feature will enable users to track views, upvotes, shares, and more of their posts.
Reddit might soon face new competition with Digg making a comeback.
