This year’s Wrapped brings exciting features. For instance, new insights outline up to three musical phases that encapsulate your year, based on the genres and artists you have streamed the most. There’s also a curated playlist that not only includes familiar hits but also recommends new tracks corresponding to your musical phases.
Additionally, this year’s Wrapped will showcase your “Longest Listening Streak” for your top artists and reveal the “Top Listeners” statistics, indicating what percentage of listeners you rank within for your favorite artist. In a first for Wrapped, Spotify will also compile a playlist of your most-watched music videos where available. This year’s experience will feature brief messages from artists including ROSÉ, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Through collaboration with Google, Spotify has infused AI elements into this year’s Wrapped experience. Users will encounter an AI chatbot designed to craft personalized playlists based on their Wrapped data. In select regions, an AI DJ will provide commentary on your listening habits, underscored by your favorite tracks. Moreover, Spotify will create a podcast discussing your 2024 Wrapped experience, leveraging AI for generation (availability may vary by region).
