YouTube is including several new insights to the Creator Studio dashboard, besides a new presentation for Stories analytics in the mobile application.
These features were declared in the newest Creator Insider video, and include the present analytics options that YouTube has released for Creator Studio during the past months.
The major inclusion is to the layout of the video analytics overview, it will be similar to the format of the channel analytics soon, and will contain a real-time performance indication section on the right side of the screen.
According to the program manager of YouTube Abhinav Singh:
“We heard from a lot of you in the feedback that it currently looks too small, so we added a ‘See More’ button that will enable you to look at your video’s real-time views in full-screen.”
As stated, in the last few months, YouTube added a set of new tools of analytics and data to this display, containing the new ‘Revenue Per Mille’, that makes it simpler for people to know how much they will earn every 1,000 views of one video.
With slow advertisers spending, creators have missed out in the last few months, with most creators viewing CPM decreases by 30% to 50%. Putting more tools can help YouTubers increase their videos, and earn more out of their efforts. Also, make it more transparent on the platform.
Besides this, Singh also stated that YouTube has fixed the channel recommendation highlights on the top of the major table on screen:
“We’ve improved our analysis to detect reasons why your video could be over or underperforming, such as changes in search or external traffic.”
On the other hand, YouTube is releasing a new basic Stories analytics’ form on the home page in the mobile application as well.
As you can see here, the new listing will display aggregate views and subscribers gained from Stories you’ve posted in the last 14 days.
However, stories don’t look like an essential addition to the ecosystem of YouTube, yet it’s gradually gaining some activity, and the further insights will assist YouTubers to know how much concentration they should grant to the option.
The features are being released to all YouTubers through the next few weeks.
